Apple Intelligence is finally available in US English, and if you're in the EU you'll be able to use the new AI features on your iPhone and iPad from April, says a post from Apple's Irish newsroom.
When the features launch on iPhones and iPads in the EU, they will “include many of Apple Intelligence's core features, including writing tools, Genmoji, a redesigned Siri with better language understanding, ChatGPT integration, and more,” Apple said in the post .
However, if EU users want to get a taste of Apple Intelligence sooner, they can try out the first features on their Mac, available now with macOS Sequoia 15.1. Initial features include AI-powered writing tools, improvements to Siri, and email summaries in Mail.
Apple also announced that Apple Intelligence will launch in December in localized English in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom. Presumably they will be included in iOS 18.2, which will add a number of other Apple Intelligence features such as Siri's ChatGPT upgrade.
