Nvidia’s all-in-one app will replace GeForce Experience later this year

Nvidia's beta app for its GPUs is nearing full release, and the company says it intends to migrate “all remaining GeForce Experience users” to the new app before the end of the year. Today Nvidia added a few more features to get the app ready, including the ability to turn G-Sync on and off, multi-monitor support for RTX HDR, and driver rollback. The app can also now notify you when DRM content is playing that could stop your ShadowPlay recording.

Nvidia says upcoming updates to the app will also include the remaining features of the Nvidia Control Panel, such as surround options, custom resolutions and multiple monitor setup. Soon, both the GeForce Experience app and the Nvidia Control Panel will be replaced by the Nvidia app, which was first introduced in February.

The app also lets you change font styles to make stats, frame rates and other information easier to read, and lets you choose from “thousands of colors” for the app interface. And there's now permanent user sorting and filtering of games and apps, as well as the ability to hide and remove manually added programs.

Here is one Digital foundry Video on RTX HDR, originally announced for video but also impressive for gaming:

To try it out, press Alt + Z to bring up Nvidia's overlay in your game, select “Game Filters,” then select HDR.
