Striking New York Times Technicians have created a Guild Builds page dedicated to strike-themed games you can play, including a spin-on variant Wordle, a word search and the custom Connections I already reported on it today.
As part of its strike announcement on Monday, the New York Times Tech Guild urged people not to cross the digital picket line to gamble NYTs daily puzzle games. This collection of five other games offers an alternative if you want to support the striking workers but also solve some brain teasers.
There are currently five games on the site:
They're not particularly fancy, but I had fun playing around with them. The games will be updated “when possible,” said Jen Sheehan, spokeswoman for the NewsGuild of New York The edge, So you might want to check back every now and then to see if there is a new version of a puzzle to play. Sheehan also says that all games are created by guild members blow, which was created by an external supporter.
