PS5 Pro will enhance Stellar Blade, Jedi: Survivor, Metal Gear, and Resident Evil

Sony has just announced seven more games that will be available for the PS5 Pro starting November 7, in addition to the games already announced. The new titles include Starblade, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, F1 24, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, both Resident Evil Village And Resident Evil 4, And Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

This means that the entire lineup confirmed so far includes 20 Enhanced games, including:

While it may not have been clear during Sony’s initial reveal on the YouTube livestream, we’ve since seen that the PS5 Pro does indeed promise graphical improvements over the original PS5, especially in games where the original seemed compromised, like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

When games like those Sony has introduced so far are explicitly patched for the new console, players no longer have to choose between a smooth 60 frames per second and a high level of detail: thanks to the extra power of the PS5 Pro and AI-assisted “PSSR” upscaling, you get both the high resolution and high frame rate modes of the original PS5 at the same time.

Sony hasn't revealed what resolution or frame rate each of these enhanced games will run at internally. The company expects 40-50 games to have PS5 Pro patches by the time the system launches, and that the PS5 Pro will still be able to play PS4 and PS5 titles that haven't been patched. Some may run faster in Boost mode.
