The best Prime Day deals you can get on some of our home office go-tos

One of the favorite series on this site – at least for many of our employees – is “What's on Your Desk?” where we look at some people's home offices here The edge. (For one thing, it's reassuring to know that most of us have the same clutter syndrome, and that is after Clean up the space for the photos!)

We looked to see if some of the interesting things we found in our employees' home office setups – office chairs, fairy lights, drawing tablets, etc. – were on sale during the Amazon Prime Day event this fall and came up with them this.

I just had to search for the name on Amazon: it’s the “HON Office Chair Black |”. Ignition 2.0 | Ergonomic | Adjustable tilt, rotating wheels, comfortable for long hours,” which should basically tell you everything you need to know about how good and stylish it is. I bought it in 2021 for $332 after doing a lot of research because I just couldn't afford a really high quality desk chair. I've always had back problems, and this one has actually served me quite well – it's starting to tear a bit, and one of the arms split open a few weeks ago, but I sit in this thing too many hours a week, and I live to tell the story.

I have an Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker. We have several around the apartment to control various smart home settings, but having one in my office also keeps me updated on all deliveries. I even use it as a speaker output for my PC when I don't feel like wearing headphones.

I have a Logitech MX Vertical ergonomic mouse. I've been a vertical mouse advocate for years and of all the ones I've tried, I like this one the best. It's not too complicated and has drastically reduced my wrist pain.

I also got the Insta360 Link webcam because I was tired of looking like a blurry potato while making phone calls. This is great because it tracks your position, although sometimes it doesn't always work the way it's supposed to, and my colleagues can see a close-up of my forehead.

I have either Apple's AirPods Pro or Max headphones on most of the time throughout the day, either to answer calls or listen to music.

Update, October 9th: Adjusted prices and new offers added, including for the AirPods Max.
