The Apple Watch Series 2 isn't new, as it launched last year, but its newly available black color looks pretty cool and is currently receiving one of its first (small) discounts. Currently, you can get the black titanium Ultra 2 with a green Alpine Loop strap in small or large sizes for $749.99 ($49 off) at Amazon. (And if you're not style obsessed, the Ultra 2 is still available in its original color for $689.99 at Amazon.)
Even with that modest discount, it's still an expensive smartwatch, but if you feel compelled to get one now, whether for adventure-ready fitness tracking or fashion reasons (hey, no judgement here), you might as well save what you can.
Apple's chunky wearable has a large 49mm display and its titanium body makes it more than durable enough for the average weekend enthusiast (assuming you own an iPhone, of course). Aside from the customizable action button for power users and features like multi-band GPS that's more accurate than the single-band GPS on the smaller Apple Watches, one of the Ultra's biggest draws is its battery life. It easily lasts up to two full days on a single charge, which for some people alone might be worth the hefty price tag.
