The company claims that the BB-1200, which debuted last January at CES 2024, is “the first North American bidet toilet seat that is app-controlled and affordable.” Kohler announced a similar product at CES 2024: its PureWash E930 bidet seat, which can be operated via the Kohler Konnect app or voice commands. It was available to order immediately in January for $2,149, but its price has since dropped to $1,597.50.
This definitely makes the BB-1200 “affordable” by comparison at $399. In addition to controlling the seat through the Bemis Living app (available for iOS and Android), the BB-1200 allows two users to configure profiles with their preferred water pressure, water temperature, and seat temperature. The BB-1200 connects via both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and users open the app when seated to activate their preferred setting.
Guests without a profile can access all of the bidet's functions using an included wireless remote control, and the seat can be retrofitted to most existing toilets.
