The end.
Shielded from the apocalyptic horrors outside, an oil magnate (Michael Shannon), an art curator (Tilda Swinton) and their son (George MacKay) spend their time in a bunker where they write books, arrange flowers and eat lots of cake. But the facade begins to crumble when a young survivor (Moses Ingram) enters their home.
The film is full of black humor and even darker revelations. Also is an uplifting musical, but these two sides never mesh in a satisfying way. Instead, it feels bloated and, worse, it has no memorable songs.
